Single Issue Legislation

Much of U.S. federal policy is dictated by a few special interests.  In particular, three of the most important regulatory functions of our federal government are dictated by the special interests of organizations within the very industry to be overseen:

• The military-industrial complex dictates our foreign policy.
• Wall Street dictates our economic policy.
• Big Oil dictates our energy policy.
